Partnering with

CA & MD Williams

Silage

Kyabram, VIC

We partnered with CA & MD Williams to support their silage season, providing early cash flow to ease the pressure at the start of their cycle. The partnership not only helped them stay on track when a key buyer pulled out last-minute, but also connected everyday Australians with life on the land — something they’re passionate about sharing.

Here's what they said about IIF

  1. Where did you first hear about IIF?
We first heard about IIF through a Facebook ad.
  2. What led you to work with IIF?
My husband actually asked me what it was “really all about,” so he gave them a call. It was as simple as that. In the end, we loved the concept—non-agri people getting a small taste of life on the land. We’d love for more people to better understand agriculture.
  3. What benefit did you gain from working with IIF?
We were able to have better cash flow at the beginning of the season.
  4. What fears, doubts, or concerns did you have before partnering with us?
We thought it was too good to be true, but we had no concerns in the end. IIF was very supportive.
  5. How would you describe the onboarding process with IIF?
We onboarded in 2024 and found it very straightforward. The contracts were excellent.
  6. Please expand on anything—any criticism is helpful, negative or positive.
When our silage buyer pulled out the day before cutting, we were very worried about what would happen next. But IIF supported us through it. Although we didn’t get the outcome we hoped for with the sale, we still did well and felt really supported. I’ve also thought it would be helpful to have someone check in more regularly—ideally someone with professional knowledge—just to make sure everything is on track and that the farming is being done as agreed. I’d like to think we’re all good, honest people, but unfortunately, that’s not always the case.
